University Co-op has partnered with UT For Me - Powered by Dell Scholars - to provide textbooks and course materials at the lowest possible cost. UT For Me students receive a $250 scholarship credit to purchase course materials at the University Co-op.

+What can I buy with my UT for Me Scholarship?

What am I able to purchase with my UT for Me scholarship funds?

Textbooks, school supplies, art supplies, and lab equipment needed for classes, and your graduation cap, gown, tassel, and stole. Backpacks are not eligible to be purchased with UT for Me scholarship funds


Can I add Longhorn gear to my order?

You’ll need to make a second transaction for your non-scholarship items. If you’re shopping online, please place one order for your course materials and then a second online order with credit card as the payment for any non-course material items. If you add extra gear to your scholarship order, they will be cancelled during fulfillment and not charged to your scholarship account.

What is LTA and can I use my credit for it?

Longhorn Textbook Access is a digital textbook. If your instructor has selected the LTA version of your course textbook, it will be available to you through the “My Textbooks” tab in Canvas.

The cost of your LTA materials will be deducted from your UT for Me credits after the 12th class day. If you have a remaining balance after your credit applies, it will be charged to your What I Owe page.

+How do I use my Ut for Me Funds?

What do I need to Bring to the store to make my purchases?

Please bring a photo ID to shop in store. You can check out at any register, but let the cashier know that you’re a UT 4 Me student who would like to use your scholarship. We will ask you for your UT EID at the register to find your account.


I'm not able to shop in the store, how can I purchase with my UT for Me scholarship?

If you’re not able to shop in the store, you can place online orders as long as they total less than your scholarship amount.

1) Use the Forgot Password link on the website to set up your online account (enter the email address used for UT 4 Me). Note: if you are a returning UT for Me student, you will not need to create an account, you will log into your existing account.

2) Place your order online. When you get to the final screen of check-out, choose “INVOICE” as your payment method.

3) Submit your order!

Please note – only add course material items to your order. If you’d like to purchase some additional Longhorn gear, place a separate order and choose credit card payment during checkout. If you will be spending more than $250 on your course materials, please contact our customer service team before purchasing.


How can I use my UT for Me Credit on Longhorn Textbook Access (LTA) materials?

If you are a UT for Me student and wish you use your textbook credit on Longhorn Textbook Access items, the cost for the course materials will be deducted from your UT for Me account balance after the 12th class day.

If you don’t have enough funds in your UT for Me account to cover the cost of your Longhorn Textbook Access course materials, the different will show up on your “What I Owe” page and you will need to pay that by the 20th class day to retain access to your Longhorn Textbook Access course materials.

+How do I access my UT for Me Account?

I can’t log into my account!

1) Use the Forgot Password link on the website to set up your online account (enter the email address used for UT for Me). Note: if you are a returning UT for Me student, you will not need to create an account, you will log into your existing account.

2) If it says that the account does not exist:
• Make sure that you have filled out the survey from the UT for Me team at the beginning of every school year
• If you have filled out the survey within the last couple of days, your account is in the process of being created


How can I check my UT for Me scholarship account balance?

We encourage you to keep track of your spending as you go. If you’d like to get an account update, you can:

• Log into our website.
• Visit the Billing > Account Balance section to see your latest Scholarship Account Balance.
• Your $250 scholarship is good for two semesters. Leftover credits roll over to the next academic year.


Do I have to pay the balance due? Did I pay for my materials?

The “Balance Due” is an function on our website that we cannot remove at this time, but your credit has been deducted from your account and you don’t need to pay the balance amount.

+Do my credits rollover??

If you remain eligible for the program based on criteria determined by The University, your credit will rollover. Please note that the credits are not available upon graduation.
